Question / Help OBS Crashes when launched

I can’t find the crash logs, they don’t seem to have saved. I added some audio plugins (VST2) possibly to the wrong place but it worked.
I then moved a bunch of files from C drive to E due to size constraints.
which is most likely to have caused the issue?

bit more info, when it did work with the VST’s each time I shut down OBS it crashed. The current issue came when I deleted the audio section the VST was attached to!

"moved a bunch of files" isn't really an exact description from which one can deduct if it is relevant to OBS.
Without a crash log, it's really not possible to see the cause of a crash.
We cannot guess.

For a fresh start, you can completely reinitialize and refresh OBS Studio by doing this:
  • uninstall any plugins you might have installed for OBS Studio
  • uninstall OBS Studio
  • remove any files still lingering in the installation directory of OBS Studio, for example loose plugin files you copied manually
  • rename or remove the %appdata%\obs-studio directory. This will wipe the current configuration, and with this any reference do any bad plugin.
Then new:
  • download the current version of OBS Studio
  • install it
Now try to start OBS Studio. If it starts, all is well and you can start to add/install additional plugins. Do it one by one and see if OBS Studio still works/starts. If it will not start any more after this, you know the last plugin you added - remove it or don't use it or don't install it any more.
