OBS crashes when I start recording

First time using OBS but when I start recording the program keeps crashing.

That looks like a system I/O error which could be caused by faulty hardware. Check your drives SMART health with something like CrystalDiskInfo, try chkdsk /r and also run a memory test like Prime95 or memtest86+.
