So for quite a while i was fine, but mostly when closing games like Fortnite, Dead By Daylight and most recently Alan Wake 2, my obs 100% freezes and i have to end it in the task manager and helpfully reboot obs before twitch closes my stream, was doing a 24 hour Sub-a-Thon on twitch yesterday and had it happen 4 times, and its becoming a real frustration. here's my logs from it and the link from obs any help would be extremely appreciated.

And this is the latest log Link https://obsproject.com/logs/fBQICTwpXq4BsQjf

Aparently the issue comes from the nvidia broadcast.
Uninstall it and test.

You may try it with the just released OBS 30 version too. Make sure you first back up your profiles and scene collections before updating and checking if any plugin you use is compatible or have issues with this new version.

sadly, i did all of that this morning, backed up all my scenes and everything... then about 2 hours into my stream.. every monitor went black, booted back up and i got the error "an encoder error occurred while streaming: NVENC Error: Device passed to the API is invalid. (NV_ENC_ERR_INVALID_DEVICE) , went and updated my graphics card, idk if that was the main cause of it.. but this is becoming unbearable, because i also use Nvidia broadcast since i have the RTX 4090 it works fantasticaly as a background remover, and when this encoder crash happens it also crashes nvidia broadcaster, which then prevents me from using the camera on it, until i reset my pc, and everything is working again like nothing ever happened.. but since it completely crashes obs.. i dont get a crash report for some reason.. idk.. i'm at a loss i'm completely stumped as to what it might be...

If there's no crash report on OBS then the crash happens somewhere else, like in the nvidia app itself.
You need to check windows error logs to see where is happening and probably why.

The program obs64.exe version 30.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.
