Bug Report OBS crashes when building mp4 after reconnect w/ no internet

Hi, I was testing out what would happen if I were to be live streaming and recording a file locally at the same time.
I disabled my network adapter and waited to see what would happen after it failed to reconnect.

After the failed reconnect, it tries to build the mp4 but crashes, I tested it 2 other times and same results.

Is there a way for the local recording to continue on even though it cannot reconnect, or is it better off to have 2 instances of OBS open (if possible) and do a local recording on the second one?

Thanks, this will be fixed in the next build (the crash part at least).

Re: OBS crashes when building mp4 after reconnect w/ no inte

So is there no way to continue the recording after it can't reconnect to the internet...?

If not, what is an alternative then, other than using a different program to local record..
Because this would be a major inconvenience if someone was recording something locally for future use, but live streaming it at the same time, and they don't know their stream went down, then the local recording will be cut off to where it is useless.

Re: OBS crashes when building mp4 after reconnect w/ no inte

This will likely be addressed once separate output methods are added.
