Hi.

Not using Personify ChromaCam but since today my OBS has been crashing every time I start streaming or preview the stream.

This is the crashreport I get:

a description of what you were doing at the time of the crash.

This crash appears to have occured in the 'c:\windows\system32\kernelbase.dll' module.

No idea what's going on here but I think it has something to do with sound / Teamspeak.

Since everything worked just fine yesterday and Teamspeak hasn't had an update in about a week I don't think Teamspeak is the real culprit here. Also I really want to be able to have Teamspeak running while streaming.

Another funny thing is that when I get the error (happens every time) I get the window up saying that OBS has crashed.
As long as I don't hit any buttons in that window and just keep it up I can continue streaming and it works according to my viewers.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance and thanks for an awesome program that I've been using without looking at another for a couple of years now.

The crash is definitely being caused by Personify. There's not much we can do about this, as we do not have control over their program. You will need to contact them and provide the crash details so they can investigate on their side.

Please don't hijack someone else's thread for an unrelated post. Not only is your crash unrelated, but this is the OBS Studio subforum, and you're still using Classic which is no longer supported. In the future, please create your own thread.

It is strongly recommended that you update to OBS Studio. Links to download can be found here: https://obsproject.com/download

Further information on why you should update (and how) can be found here: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/how-to-easily-switch-to-obs-studio.55820/
