I removed OBS and re-installed it because it kept crashing on opening. It still does it after re-installing it… Help please!
It won’t even load “safe” mode.

same problem here, I'm on a Mac mini. I've re-installed it so many times and even updated my OS to see if that was the problem.
I even had it working for hours earlier, but then out of nowhere it stopped working entirely. I'm super confused hopefully someone can help

I’m running a 2019 MacBook Pro with Sequoia 15.2 OS. I cannot install OBS Studio because it crashes “unexpected error”. It won’t even run in safe mode. Can anyone address what could be wrong?

If OBS is crashing on your MacBook Pro, try the following:
  1. Update OBS: Make sure you have the latest version of OBS installed. Updates often fix bugs that cause crashes.
  2. Check Plugins: Disable any unnecessary plugins and see if that resolves the issue.
  3. Adjust Video Settings: Lower the resolution or frame rate in OBS settings to see if it reduces the load on your Mac.
  4. Clear Cache: Sometimes corrupted settings can cause crashes, so clearing OBS's cache or resetting settings might help.
I ran into the same issue while recording a Sajoki video using OBS on my MacBook Pro. The software crashed multiple times, but after updating OBS and tweaking the settings, it worked fine. If you’re also dealing with video content like I was for Sajoki, making sure your setup runs smoothly is key!

How do I disable plugins if the software won't even boot up? I don't know how to do that... I WILL clear cache, however...

…so how do I get the error message (attached) if I’ve removed OBS?
