Bug Report OBS crashes immediately after startup.

A couple of months back I began doing digital art and I wanted to livestream on Picarto.Tv so that my fans and commissioners could watch me draw. OBS was the only supported streaming software for Mac on picarto, so I downloaded it.

At first I had a problem with OBS crashing right after I would open it up. I didn't even have enough time to click on settings before it would go down! I looked all over for help and received none (I even posted here to no avail). I finally found a download link in some forum deep down in the chasms of Google that (I think, but I have no idea) was modified somehow. I downloaded that and it worked!

After that I was able to stream but the streams framerate was extremely poor (it was like a scratched up movie) and the program would send crash reports when I closed it. I didn't bother with changing settings too much for fear it would mess it up so there was no audio, but I was happy.
But today I got too confidant.

It was nearly my time to stream so I quickly Googled how to add music to my stream. There was no useful information online so I decided to try to freehand it. I opened OBS and added a new Source: Media Source. (I have no idea what any of this means). It wanted an Input source or something so I put the YouTube url because that's where I wanted the music from. The program crashed immediately and ever since I haven't been able to open it as it simply sends a crash report.

I know what I did probably sounds stupid but please don't laugh. I'm not tech savvy and I need to stream every day. Please help! This is putting me severely behind schedule!
