OBS crashes frequently when recording/streaming, typically when loading into a game.

I have recently been trying to stream/record games of Teamfight Tactics, but OBS has been crashing at the start of almost every game. When OBS "crashes" it still functions in the background, I am able to make changes in OBS and continue to stream/record, but the crash notification popup persists until I close it, which also closes my OBS. Occasionally, when OBS crashes my game also freezes and I have to reopen it. So far, I have tried the most common OBS crash fixes to no success.

PC specs:

i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHz
16gb RAM
