OBS crashes every time i try to log in to twitch

i've spent the better part of 2 days now trying to get back into OBS so it works. I got affiliate on twitch two days ago and since then i haven't been able to log into twitch on OBS. I've tried to uninstall, reinstall, deleted all the library files which means all my scenes and everything are gone too but I thought surely that would fix it. it did not.
every time i log in to twitch i get the email saying successful log in but then OBS crashes, so it isn't linked when i reopen the application..can't edit stream info or anything directly in OBS coz those option docks just aren't visible at all on my UI help pls :((((

hey man! I've experienced the EXACT same issue as long with multiple other members. It doesn't seem like anyone has stepped in and helped out at all. I did hear in the OBS Discord that there should be a update fix soon but thats all I know. As of right now we are all stuck waiting. very unfortunate.

I did a little more intensive research and it looks like you can download this version. I tried it and it seemed to safely connect to my twitch , the only thing I'm still having trouble with is seeing my chat dock and changing stream information such as title, notifcation and game im playing but I'm sure theres something we can do about that.

Clear OBS login cache:

%appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\twitch

and delete the contents of that folder. Then restart OBS and try logging in again.

Run OBS as Administrator — right-click the OBS icon → “Run as Administrator.” Sometimes permissions prevent Twitch auth from saving correctly.

Check browser login method:
If you’re using “Connect Account” under Stream → Service → Twitch, try logging out completely in your browser first, then reconnect through OBS.

Reset UI layout:
Since you mentioned missing docks, go to View → Docks → Reset UI, or delete the basic\ui.ini file inside your OBS config folder to rebuild the layout.
