Please I need help. I recorded an important session with OBS. When I clicked Stop recording after it is done, it brought out some error that showed that it was going to crash or close automatically or restart. This is not good. Before pressing the OK for it to do so, I checked the video folder where it saves all my recordings. I saw the recording but it didn't have any thumbnail as other recorded videos do. I knew there was a problem right there. I clicked the video and the video player could not play it. Anyways, I closed the folder hoping to come back to it later to fix the file. So, I pressed Okay on the OBS to close. It did. I opened the software up again and recorded another session and it was all good without any problems of crash. However, when I went to the video folder, the first recording that didn't play earlier was gone. I could only see the second recording among past recording. The first recording is missing and it is the most important recording in my life. What happened? Please tell me I can find the file somewhere else in OBS archives. I really need any relevant help. I have gone to the OBS folder in the Roaming folder to look for a copy, and I couldn't find anything except for this crash file in the crashes folder. I have also try to make hidden file visible in the videos folder, but nothing. Please help. What do I do?

Writing to a network location isn't recommended. I don't know what happened for you, but network issues might be the reason for stuff going away or not being stored in the first place. Always write important stuff to a local drive, then move it to a NAS.
