Although the crash didnt repeat on the second attempt I thought i should mention it and post the error message.
a little backround before the crash happened. I setup OBS with a game capture for Lord of the rings Online (LOTRO) after noticing there was no image on twitchtv i began to investigate further. First i tried a windowed capture mode this only worked if i placed LOTRO in windowed mode, which is ok but for me it takes away from the game. So I went to setup a monitor capture mode, I knew this would work since i unknowingly setup another game this way.

So i switch and clicked "start Broadcast" then i recieved this message the message below. After OBS closed, i reopened OBS and selected my LOTRO source and clicked "start broadcast" again and it worked just fine. I dont know why this happened maybe it was my error or to much for the software I dont know, but i thought it would be worth mentioning
