OBS Crashed, now crashes every before it can open

Hey all, recently, OBS began to crash whenever I'd close it. I didn't make much of it since I was closing it anyway, but now it's crashing before it'll even load the GUI.

I'm doing a bit of troubleshooting and have found that if I only delete only the scenes directory (%UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\obs-studio\basic\scenes), it will load. So it would seem something got corrupted in the JSON file(?). Really hoping I can pinpoint the issue and maybe just remove that from the file instead of having to revert to my two-week-old backup and redo everything I've changed since then (a lot).

I've looked through the logs and crash logs, but nothing is blatantly obvious to me. Maybe someone who knows more than I do can understand what is the problem. I attached the log (from "logs" directory) and the crash log (from "crashes") for the most recent attempt, where it crashes before loading - these say "latest" at the end of the file name.

I also attached the crash log from the crash the last time OBS actually ran (when it crashed upon closing). This is the only one that has anything listed for the Fault address (others say null). It says Fault address: 7FF8EC152F57 (c:\program files (x86)\obs-studio\bin\64bit\w32-pthreads.dll). Looking at some older crash logs, this shows up a number of other times. Unfortunately, googling for this turns up a dead end and only one other thread on this forum from last year with three people asking and no solution.

Thanks for any help!

reacontrolmidi-standalone is the vst plugin causing problems.
Thanks! Yeah, that's a VST package I installed to try out just yesterday. I literally just realized that right now and came to update the thread. I misread the plugin name earlier and mistook it for a different plugin that I didn't expect to be causing an issue. D'oh. Thanks for your response in any case!
