OBS crashed at close/exit

Hello, everyone,

I switched from Streamlabs OBS to OBS Studio and I think it's great.

Now I have a problem. Every time I close/exit OBS Studio it crashes. It does not write a crash log at this moment. It remains in the task manager and I can only remove it from the tasks with "shutdown / g / f / t 0".

I've tried the following things:
- Run as admin
- Run with compatibility mode
- Run without plugins

Unfortunately that didn't help, I still have the problem. Otherwise there are no problems only when close/exit OBS Studio.

Does anyone have a solution to the problem?

No solution but watching. Have similar problem.
OBS freezes ever time on exiting requiring forced closure eg using Task Manager
It started after installing PTZOPtics NDI camera (with OBS NDI plugin) and setting up scenes with camera and preset set by browser - not yet sure if connected

Installed OBS 64bit (retainng settings) and reinstalled OBS (64 bit).
Process of uninstalling OBS actually disabled OBS plugins (ASIO and NDI).
OBS no longer crashed on exit while NDI plug uninstalled.
However as soon as NDI plugin reinstalled, crashing on exit resumed.
OBS worked normally without any other issues for our Sunday service.

Uninstalled OBS NDI and ASIO addons then uninstalled OBS not retaining settings. Restarted PC then deleted OBS program folder.
Reinstalled, OBS and both addons.
ie clean reinstall
So far no OBS crashes on exit

Down side was that although I had exported OBS scenes, attempts to import them after reinstall was unsuccessful.
So had to set up OBS from scratch again.

Watching - Just have one plug in for ptz controller for camera . I DO have issues freezing occasionally but not all the time . I checked the logs on OBS and the PC but found nothing to refer back to any issues with OBS.

So I figured out the issue for me, results might be different for you... What was crashing my OBS was was the websocket plugin. I had to update the plugin and that seems to have solved my issue. So I would say if you're having the same issue, either update or reinstall your plugins, especially if it's been a while since you originally installed the plugin.

Hope this helps someone!
