OBS Crash when connected to docking station

My OBS software crash if I'm connected to my docking station when launching it.

If I disconnect from the docking station, I can launch the software, then connect to the dock, and everything runs smoothly.

I've tried to uninstall and reinstall everything multiple times but nothing seems to work.

Details of my set up below:

Computer:
* MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)
* MacOS Big Sur, version 11.6
* 2,6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7
* 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
* Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

Display Link:
* Dock <Startech Docking station>
* DisplayLink Manager 1.5.0 (Build 58.125)

Monitor:
* 2 x Dell P2719H connected via Display Port cables

Software:
* OBS version 27.0.1

I'm having similar issues. I think DisplayLink may be the problem i.e. some kind of conflict between OBS and DisplayLink. I'm on here trying to find a solution and hoping that isn't 'get a new dock which doesn't rely on DisplayLink'. Anyone had any luck setting up with MacOS, OBS and DisplayLink? I have the same problem as above i.e. OBS crashes unexpectedly as well as no preview of the webcam and screenshare (even though the Output recording does have everything showing and I have allowed screen recording for OBS in privacy settings.
Any help would be appreciated, even it's just confirmation that this configuration won't work
