Hi, here is my Problem: I got a crsh at starting OBS with the attatched Crashlog. I try to install 2 Plugins (move-transition-2.4.1-windows, spectralizer.v1.3.4.bin.windows), during the Installation it tolds me to install the VC_redist.x64. After i do this install, the Crashes occures. Any hints for this Problem? Is there a way to save the configurations i done bevor in the Studio? It was a lot of work and i just starting streaming last Sunday... :-/

Windows recently released an update. Check to make sure Windows is up to date, restart the computer. If OBS continues to crash, uninstall both plugins and restart the computer (not required, but suggested).

If OBS continues to crash, you may need to uninstall and reinstall OBS studio. You can 'export' your profile and scene settings. Prior to 'importing' those back into a fresh installation - open OBS to confirm no crashes. Then install one-plugin at a time, and test OBS for crashing.

Ok, it works. :-) I updated my Windows and uninstall the Plugins. after that i restart the Computer and OBS will start again. Thank you so much!!! I hope it works next saturday when i am streaming again. Now i will first export a Backup, cause like the IT guys says: No Backup, no mercy. :-)

Absolutely true! Make sure you export the profile and scenes outside the OBS folder, to avoid accidental removal if you uninstall.
You can test reinstalling each plugin without uninstalling OBS - you have the option of using the installer for the plugin, or doing a manual install - you can try both for each plugin, and one may not crash OBS.

I just started having this problem a week ago after I updated it. Nothing works for me, and I don't know what to do. Please help me! This is my livelihood!

Hi! My OBS just started crashing when I try to open it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it a few times, and my AMD software is up to date. I have the most recent crash log attached. Thank you!
