You dont need those. They are separate products. You only need Elgato Game Capture software that contains the driver.

Stream Deck is a keypad. It lets you assign actions to buttons to trigger events like turning on/off displays, webcams, showing scenes, etc. It just replaces the keyboard by providing an iconic view to associate events with button presses.

4K60 Pro is Elgato's new 4K capture card.

Echo happens when you got your mic and speakers on. Sound from the speakers get captured through your mic creating an echoing effect. You need to not use speakers when you record/stream. Mute them or turn the volume completely off.

Instead, listen through your headsets. This is called "Monitoring". You specify the monitor device in the Advanced | Audio Monitoring Device dropdown. Then, use the Mixer wheel and click on Advanced Audio Properties to select the Audio Monitoring for each audio device.

For your mic, you are going to set it at Monitor and Output. This means you want to hear yourself speak in the headphones and have the mic output captured in OBS Studio. For your game play, you are going to Monitor that and Output it to OBS as well.

If you don't want audio captured and want to hear it, you set it to Monitor only (mute output).
If you want to capture the audio only and not hear it, you set this to Monitor Off.
If you want both, Monitor and Output.

Hey
very insightful! I am going to try and apply this knowledge . I will look in OBS to try and figure out what this all means as i am very poor with this stuff and takes me a lot of help , trial and error . I will look at mic settings in OBS however , as far as hearing my music or chat or anything in my head set , can i do this wireless? I have astro A50s and do not have the 3.5 MM male to male that some plug from i think the computer / sound card to the base station . Its just a base station and not a little paddle mixer , the mixer is a program i had to download to my computer . Or are you saying there is a way to program all this wireless using that mixer program from astro with the A50s . Thanks for all your help! it's been very helpful and i wish i knew all this stuff so i didn't have to require so much assistance , i'm just real bad at this stuff but on a brighter note , all the stuff i have learned about streaming and OBS and that i do learn , i help lots of other streamers with the knowledge and always pay it forward .

kind regards .

I would suggest watching YouTube videos on Astro A50, OBS Studio, and your targeted platform for game play (i.e. PC, PS4, XBox One). Sometimes seeing things visually step by step is easier than reading text and explanations. Good luck.
