yeah , it should be as i just went through my settings and stuff on friday to see if i could make it better and i thought i did but its still lagging so badly that i can't even stream .Do you have your browser sources set to Shutdown when not visible?
i do not own and XBOX and so there is no account for it to be able to access settings for disabling win10 dvr for xbox . I will remove the scenes and re create , hope this helps , ill report back to you .1. disable Win10 GameDVR
2. create new scene collection with an empty scene
Check CPU load
3. add your game capture source and check CPU load again.
4. add your webcam and check CPU load again.
5. add your browser sources and check CPU load again.
Could be a bad driver, that is causing high cpu load, as soon, as you add the device into your scene, or some bad browser source.
Hey , in empty scene it goes up and down in "speed fan " from 9 to say 21 cpu use and then not too much with camera and microphone although i am having massive issue with blu yetti mic ... it never recogonises it anymore ! the only way it does is if i search blu yetti on my PC and click the driver setup and basically re install it every single time and then it asks to restart my computer , its so annoying and makes no sense , this is a USB plug and play mic . It's the newer blu yetti pro or whatever . I also use elgato HD60 pro .Does CPU usage go down when webcam is unplugged?
Start a new, empty OBS-Studio scene collection or clone it, does CPU usage goes down with an empty scene collection?
You can add remove one sources at a time, watching CPU usage. Which one is causing the most CPU usage?
Which elgato model do you have? (HD60 HD60-S HD60 Pro)
yep! up until this point i streamed for a year with ZERO issue , NO LAG ever , mic was good , everything crispy ... now all of a sudden ... choppy streams .... mic not recognised by OBS every time .... poor audio quality .... its all messed up! i don't know what the hell is going on or what to do . I took 2 hours to clean up my entire PC even to make sure no un needed programs ever run in the back , junk files , top to bottom clean up! still having issues .. this is driving me insane and making people leave my channel .I have the exact same problem with my Elgato HD60 and OBS. I did 60 videos at full 1080p60fps for 3 months now and all of a sudden everything is super laggy and used 90% GPU. I did not changed any settings and have the same computer. I tried the same setup in the Elgato Software and everything is running smooth as butter with everything at max settings. This is definitely something related to OBS and the Elgato HD60.
Also, even on an empty scene with only a black screen, I get 30% GPU usage, which makes no sense at all.
53 C and climbing - CPU usage up and down all over the place , highest i seen so far in 5 minutes was 45 % in speed fan the CPU has a fire symbol by it and so does "AUXTIN0" at 50 C and AUXTIN3 at 60C! my poor stream :( i don't know how to fix this or my audio issues , could some one team viewer with me to help?Checked your CPU temperatures?
i went to elgato website for latest drivers which apparently i had already ? i got my elgato like a year ago so i dont know how i could but it said this driver already exists do you want to re install .Go update your Elgato driver. I had problems with Creator update and Elgato HD 60 Pro. Once I updated, the problems went away.
awesome , just got back home and downloaded all 3 items , what exactly is "stream deck" and "4k windows" for / do .There's been many updates over the past year. Go here for Windows downloads and get the entire Game Capture suite:
