Aside from the 'GX Mode' in OBS, there is another issue I have noticed:
CPU preset is always set to "Faster" and has to be reset at every startup of OBS.
You can switch it while it is running, but it will not save to the hard drive.
It's possible you changed it to faster a while ago, and then something happened to your %appdata%/obs folder to cause it to become write-protected so your profile isn't saving anymore. Also make sure you're running OBS as administrator.
I see, those could have resulted in it never setting the CPU preset: but even after i load the application it still shows "superfast" when in fact it is using the "faster" preset.
