Hello!
So lately, I've been getting more and more instances of my OBS and game freezing for about a second or two. From my understanding, this is due to CPU overload (since I'm encoding with the x264 so via my CPU). This is incredibly annoying, since both my game and stream freeze pretty often. My CPU is an Intel i7-4790k at 4GHz overclocked at 4.5. A game like Sekiro soaks up about 45-50% of my CPU and OBS at the current settings takes about 15% (I'm streaming 1080p30fps in "superfast" preset with 6k bitrate (I have 25 mb/s upload speed). When the game gets more loaded, it goes up to 80% of use, and that's where the freezes occure. No CPU overload warning on OBS, no CPU overheating, nothing. It just freezes for a second, gets back to speed and in the worse cases freezes a few seconds after, again.
Apart from lowering my resolution or basically making OBS cheaper on the CPU, do you have any tips? I don't want my stream to become a pile of pixels, and changing CPU is kinda too much for me unfortunately. If there are any tips, I'd be glad to get it!
