Question / Help Obs Cpu cores

Quick question how many cpu cores can obs take use of?

Due to limitations of the encoder, it starts having trouble taking advantage of cores above about 18-20

Ok, so basically as much as I can for my price, 8 cores should be just fine then, thank you for your help

I think it was up to 255 Cores but ever after ~16-22 it starts to be just wasted Resource.

255 cores is probably maximum theoretical, maximum practical is down in the 16-22/18-20 range we both mentioned.
