OBS connected to ATEM as Cam4

I'm only using OBS for playing videos and a countdown clock. When I change to Full screen projector, the laptop changes too and I can't see the studio controls. Is there a way to keep studio up and only send the full screen out the HDMI port? Think PowerPoint calls this presenter mode.
