Question / Help OBS Choppy Issue > Need help asap!

I am need of help because I have my OBS Settings all set up but everytime I record the video is so laggy and choppy. It records smoothly on the preview

I use a laptop, with 2 monitors. I record my laptop monitor.

What could be an issue?

Hate to report that its way choppier :/ it starts off fine and then skips like 10 seconds and freezes
