OBS causing my ethernet connection to disconnect

Hi, I have been using OBS for 5 months and I recently updated my modem with a Nighthawk AC19000 modem and my internet was working perfectly and my stream looking really good, however I recently updated OBS yesterday and for some odd reason when I stream, obs causes my ethernet connection to disconnect and show on the task bar that if it were not connected. However, I tried turning off my modem and as well their is no outages in my area and I believe it has to be OBS, I have tried the advanced settings and as well different servers. Tried twitch broadcast test, and all sorts of things.

This is likely a hardware problem such as a bad cable or router. OBS operates at a much higher level than your Ethernet connection and can't cause something like this. Check your router firmware and is up to date.

I dont think that is the case because my ethernet cable I have tested on my console by streaming on twitch and checking the firmware for my pc and nothing wrong with it.

my network drivers are up to date especially when it comes to windows and drivers. Since I usually check for updates often and I’ll try the encoder but how would it help since it seems to be for better audio?

Did you do a Win10 Update as well? Did you seen the recent patch notes about a whole bunch of Windows bugs being fixed (patches in process of being released)? Might any of those apply to your situation?

Yea I check everyday to see if I have any win10 updates but none however. OBS was able to fix itself somehow and tested it & have no connection issues anymore so that’s a plus but thank you all for your help
