I'm pretty new and dumb when it comes to this. I stream my WoW game, so I can go back and work on my play a bit. I've been having an issue where the game will freeze for a few seconds while streaming, and looking at OBS it appears to say the connection is to blame. If streaming is disabled, there is no issue. I was originally using display capture and switched to game capture, changed over to the nvenc encoder, so far I've not had any luck solving the issue. I'm using a wired connection on symmetrical gigabit internet service and have no connection problems to speak of.
Currently running a 3900x, 64GB memory, and an rtx2080 so I didn't expect the hardware to be a problem. I couldn't care less if the stream/recording is a little wonky here and there as it's just for me, so I'm not so much interested in fixing the dropped frames, I just want it to stop actually locking up my game when/if it happens.
