Bug Report OBS Causes Game Crash Upon Switching/Enabling Game Capture

Literally every single time I go to switch to a scene that is currently capturing Minecraft, the crashes. If I turn off the game capture and start up the game it loads fine, and then the second I turn it on, the game crashes. This happens literally every single time I go to use a scene that has this enabled. This is so annoying and irritating since this is preventing me from being able to stream as Minecraft is the main game on my channel.

Either any ideas on how to fix this or what is going on?

EDIT: I have confirmed this is an issue with OBS, as I have been able to replicate it over and over again. Not entirely sure what logs I would post though since its not OBS that is crashing, but rather OBS causing other programs to crash.

What graphics card do you have?

Do you have anything that could be hooking in to the opengl dll such as razer ingame or raptr installed?

I have a GTX970 and I have Razor Synapse installed if that counts. Issue still occurs though when I have Razor Synapse closed.

Not entirely sure. I am already live by the time I run into this issue since it only happens when game capture is used and its hard to test since I already have a ton of viewers and cant afford to just end to try to fix if that makes sense.

Im in lecture right now so Ill test it when I get back to my PC in an hour.

Thanks for the help btw. Appreciate it

Even if you close synapse before opening the game and before opening obs?
Alright so I tested this last night when I was having this issue while live. I tried before but couldnt replicate it lol. Anyway, I started stream up, switched to game capture and the game instantly crashes and refuses to come back up unless I turn game capture off. So what I did was exactly what you suggested. I ended stream, closed obs, and closed synapse, and opened mc. Then i started stream again and opened synapse. The game did not crash. I guess this is a temp fix, but i need a more permanent solution because i cant keep just ending ky stream while im live, just to change versions every time :/

Have you found a solution yet? I don't stream, but I use OBS to record videos. When I tried to use Game Capture it just crashes Minecraft instantly and gives me the same Bug Report you have.

"Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of Windows"

I've not been able to do anything to fix this. Help!?!
