OBS causes entire PC to slow down on opening

Hi there

I just installed the latest version of OBS and every time I open it, it runs slower than molases.

1. I've set all audio sources to the same frequency
2. I've set the video output to 720p
3. I've played with process priority
4. Running OBS in administrator mode
5. Tried older versions of OBS as well

Nothing seems to work. I'm not even able to create or set up any scenes and record. I'm not even able to browse the settings menu properly. CPU usage spike immediately and makes the entire PC run slower as well.

I have a 5600 and a 6800XT and 16 GB of ram

Any help would be helpful

I've tried putting the log in log analyser but nothign helpfull came from it.

You have not set any source or scenes, and a few more thing you need to anable.

My guess is the issue was caused by Bitdefender.
