Bug Report OBS causes entire computer to lag

Whenever I use OBS it causes my entire computer to lag, I do not remember which version it began and all the versions I have in my downloads have the lag. I have confirmed that it is OBS due to the fact that the lag stops as soon as OBS is closed.

Looks like your CPU is not fast enough to encode at that framerate and resolution.
Try dropping FPS to 30 and resolution to 1.5 or 2.0 downscale.

Thank you very much Grimio, it works now and I can continue streaming with OBS I just thought it was a bug because it happened out of the blue without me changing any settings

Scratch that, it made the game run smooth but the rest of the computer is still lagging and the stream is lagging as well

It's an APU, which probably means you'll have less performance sadly, plus you're also encoding a fairly high resolution stream (or were at least). FPS and downscale options are what you want to mess with. Maybe try messing with the preset (changing from veryfast to superfast, or maybe ultrafast if absolutely necessary)
