Question / Help OBS capturing partial screen, not full screen

Looking at the log myself. I'm wondering if the problem has anything to do with the video adapter. Even though my video adapter is supposedly set to AMD Radeon R9 M275,the log says Intel HD Graphics. AMD Radeon is the only video adapter available in the settings though...

Hi all,

I'm new to OBS and would like to try my hand at streaming LoL (or at least recording my gameplay) but I've run into some trouble with monitor capture, windowed, capture, and game capture. No matter what source I use, the preview only shows a partial screen (the bottom and right side are completely cut off):

This is using Monitor capture with the game on borderless windowed mode. I am not using sub-region. If I try with game capture and windows capture, the results are pretty much the same. I don't think it's a problem with resolution because my monitor and game run on 1920x1080 and that's what I've set my base resolution at:

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to fix this?

if you click the "edit scene" button you will see a red square appear around your source with small squares in the corners.
click and drag on the corners to resize the source and
click and drag the source/image to re-position that source.

I'm betting your preview is in 1:1 mode?

@Greendweller: I've already resized and repositioned the source and that's who it turns out in the picture above. If I drag the box inwards, it shows the same amount of my desktop, just smaller with black borders.

@Osiris: This is scale-to-fit mode.
