ive always heared using display capture to capture any gameplay is a bad idea for preformance issue the only down side to this is im using Nvidia game filters to help my games look their best. when i record with display capture the effects of the Nvidia filters can be seen taking effect on the gamplay through the display window. how ever when i use game capture the software just somepletely ignores im using Nvidia filters and captures the raw bad looking game.

is there a way i can get my Nvidia filters to be captured by my Game Capture? please someone help ASAP i gotta know!

With Windows 10, performance of display capture isn't significantly less than game capture, if at all. So feel free to use display capture, if that suits your better.

Game capture with Nvidia filters is probably not possible according to your description. It seems OBS is capturing the frame buffer of the game before any modifications by the driver are applied. On Windows, every app uses its own private frame buffer, and Windows merges these into one big frame buffer you see as desktop. The graphics driver seems to modify the desktop frame buffer, not the individual app frame buffers.
