Bug Report OBS Captures All Audio, Just Not Game Audio

Greetings!

I've been using OBS successfully for the past few months and then all of a sudden some (not all) games fail to have their audio captured. I can stream music from a browser, my microphone is working; but for some reason games like Hearthstone and Mass Effect2 just went silent.

To clarify, I can still hear the game audio in my headphones just fine, it's just not being captured. I've switched back and forth between Game Capture and Window Capture (window mode) to no avail. My settings are back to their original (used-to-work) state, but I did patch the tool to the latest version. (0.622b)

I've even fiddled with EVERY audio setting available in OBS to no avail. Some other games are still working just fine, which really befuddles me.

Any ideas?

UPDATE:
Nevermind, I slept on the issue and then I realized I had been using the GX option for my Xonar DX soundcard. For whatever reason it was (conflicting?) with some of the games I would play. I selected the Hi-Fi option only, and everything works now.

Hope this helps anybody else with a similar issue.

Yep, that's a known thing with xonar cards -- I really need to redo the "known issues/workarounds" thread one of these day. Glad you got it working though.
