Question / Help OBS Caps FPS at 60

Normally without OBS I run ~200 fps for League of Legends. However, when I try streaming it caps it at 60 fps. I see other streamers stream at 60 fps but play at 120+ fps. Is there a way I could fix it so the frames could be smooth on my screen? What settings should I use?

Hi,

Can you post a log after a steam this will highlight any issues within obs. Also check that vsync isn't enabled though if you are reaching about 60fps normally then it sounds like its not.

Hi guys, I came across this situation recently where recording with OBS with vsync caps the League of Legends FPS at exactly 60. Turning off vsync fixes the issue but I personally need vsync otherwise the game is a bit unplayable. Thanks!
