OBS use to work fine but for the past while it has been unusable for recording. On every single game including:
Battlefield 1
Team Fortress 2
Portal 2
The Binding of Isaac Rebirth
Enter the Gungeon
Grand Theft Auto 5
ect.. I am saying any game that I play.
It will cap the framerate from around 20-25 FPS when the game is in borderless windowed and it is the current app that is being accessed. If I click off or alt-tab the framerate is just fine. And the moment I close OBS the framerate is just fine. Know that this is not even recording, this is just with the app open and the preview is even turned off. And if I get OBS to see a fullscreen game with game capture instead of display capture(though often game capture just remains black), the same thing happens. And if I just try recording the desktop, it is extremely stutter and choppy video.
