Question / Help OBS/Capcard crash after reconnecting

I stream for 20 minutes to an hour, obs says reconnecting. After reconnected, stream shows up but capcard source says in use by another device. When I try to stop stream, OBS does not respond and I am unable to close it.

I thought this was a driver issue. I have since uninstalled most of the extras that come with nVidia, leaving only the graphics driver. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for the webcam and capcard.

It sounds more like a webcam issue...usually you shouldn't have to delay audio to sync with a webcam. One thing you can try first, though, is enabling "Use buffering" on the webcam, and leave the amount at 0ms, and see if that helps at all. You can also try changing your USB port to see if that helps at all.
