Question / Help OBS can't view my AMD gpu as an encoder.

I already downloaded the AMD encoder but still it didn't appear. I tried almost everything I guess and still can't record using my AMD driver. Please help me resolve this issue. I will truly appreciate your replies guys. I attached a photo of my OBS settings. Thanks!

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

No. Your GPU does not have the required features. VCE was introduced in the generation after yours, which is required for hardware accelerated encoding on the AMD GPU platform.

Btw, is it possible to record a gameplay ( dota 2 in particular ) without using gpu? My specs is kinda low: 4gb ram, amd athlon x3 processor.

The only thing you can do is try. Use x264, ultrafast preset. Start by setting your output (scaled) resolution to 848x480, and your framerate to 30fps.

Try a recording, see if you have encoding lag. Post the log here.

Make sure to grab the right log file. That one doesn't have any recording attempt logged in it.
