Curious if this would work and allow me to live stream to youtube from my phone. Direct phone to YouTube requires 1000 subscribers. I’m just looking to stream youth sports to parents who cannot attend due to COVID concerns. Low budget.

iPhone X->obs camera-> obs on macbook air-> youtube. Will this work? Thanks in advance.

Yes, I use OBS Camera as part of my workflow several times a week streaming to YouTube live.

You could also look into getting Streamlabs for your iPhone and stream directly to YouTube live from your phone without the computer. No 1,000 subscriber restriction that way.

Or stream to Facebook Live directly from your phone with no computer needed.

I think you can also stream directly to Twitch (another streaming platform similar to YT Live) directly from the Twitch app on your phone.

All the above options are free.
