Question / Help OBS Blank Screen Duo Monitor

Hi!

So everything is fine with OBS as long as only have one monitor. The problem begins when i add the cable to the second monitor. The screen just goes blank instantly. I have no idea why I can't stream with 2 monitors but I can just fine with one.

Oh and if I go to the settings and set the base resolution to monitor 1, when I apply and save it, it returns to the default.

Any idea why I can't stream with 2 monitors?

I have heard of some issues with window capture and such when two monitors are active; if I recall you might have to enable/disable aero to fix it, but generally it seems to be a driver issue

The button to enable/disable Aero is not available for me... Is it because of the drivers?

Actually that's because of windows 8 - so no matter what you do you can't capture the monitor when two are connected? Is this monitor capture?

It happened the same. I had to stop and start streaming to make it work.

It's because it's a laptop and suffering from the typical laptop problems of using multiple GPUs. You must force OBS to run on the correct GPU via nvidia control panel.
