Question / Help OBS-blackmagic intensity pro 4k capture card

hi.

hope there's someone who can help.

I have a intensity pro 4k capture card and I'm looking to stream live on You Tube.

The problem I have is I have a black screen on OBS and I'm not sure at all
about settings as I'm very new to this.

I have a live feed on the 4k capture card at 1080p 60f which looks great on
Media Express but how I get OBS to capture that seems extremely hard.

I've tried YouTube and it seems possible but I don't really understand
the tech stuff they say as I'm a novice on a computer when it comes to settings.
so I needs it in simple terms if anyone can help please

Hi! Please don't post partial logs. It only makes it harder for us to understand the problem that you're having. Please post a full log file from a session where this issue occurs. You can use OBS Studio's built-in log upload function, or you can attach it to your forum post using the "Upload a File" button below.

From the looks of it, you are trying to hook the card in multiple different sources. It will only display on one source. As you can see in the logs, it starts "BlackMagic Device 1" first, and it never gives an error. The devices after try to hook onto the card, but can't because "BlackMagic Device 1" is already attached. My advice is to put the card's feed in a dedicated scene, then manually add the scene as a source in other scene windows. That way, it treats the card like a global source.

Sources in OBS Studio are global by default. I would think that using "Add Existing" while adding the Blackmagic device multiple times would be the correct solution. That way, the sources are effectively all the same source, so there is no conflict.

What was the issue? I am seeing the same thing (on a setup that used to work).
