OBS Black Screen

So I am not having the issue necessarily, rather my friend is. He has talked about how he has tried multiple solutions that people say have worked and they are not working for him. He can't even switch capture displays either. Both Game Capture and Display Capture are just black. Hoping that somebody has the answer.
 
Update: my friend found out from his sibling that OBS just doesn't like certain game engines, so it's impossible to record said game. Problem is fixed though!
 
It's the way around, some games don't like OBS game capture, or even window capture. And some times, display capture.
You need to contact the devs of said game to ask them to allow OBS. Sometimes they already have a how to do it on their support site.
