OBS Black Screen

I am using a laptop connected to an external monitor and OBS is not recording. What do I do? I've been getting really frustrated lately because none of my tech has been working lately and I don't know what to do.

This problem is related to the default Windows graphics, which is set by default. If the laptop has two graphics cards, put the second one by default. If not, go to the Windows graphics settings and introduce the OBS program to this section.
