I'm experiencing a strange issue with OBS that I haven't been able to solve.
Sometimes, when I switch between windows/screens, OBS suddenly displays a black screen. However, the video preview itself remains visible, and my stream or recording continues to work normally. Viewers can still see everything correctly, so the problem seems to affect only the OBS interface on my PC.
This issue happens both while streaming and while recording, so it is not related to live streaming only. It is also intermittent: sometimes OBS works perfectly for days, then the problem suddenly happens again.
So far I have tried:
- Reinstalling OBS.
- Reinstalling the NVIDIA graphics drivers.
- Setting OBS to use the High Performance NVIDIA GPU in Windows Graphics settings.
- Disabling hardware acceleration in Chrome and Discord.
Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what could be causing this?
