Question / Help OBS black screen (have tried everything)

Hey all! So, I recently installed OBS to capture games that Nvidia shadowplay wasn't able to capture. I am on an Alienware Notebook and am trying to record the game "Dead by Daylight". I kinda sorta got it to work at one point, but the FPS was locked at 20. It told me that I needed to disable Areo. I have done so but it still tells me to disable it. But even if that ends up working under some sort of miracle. The "Window capture" and "Game Capture" just capture black screens. I have changed my graphics card settings and made it run with my Nvidia card. Everything! I am really interesting in using this program and need to get it to work! Any help or suggestions would be great!

I am having the same issue and don't know where to go. I just posted about it this morning but seeing no one has responded to this post leads me to believe that I will get the same response... have you fixed it yet?
