OBS Black Screen for Display Capture

When I try to add a display capture I get a black screen. I have seen many similar problems and tried out the solutions given for each but to no use...
If anyone could help it would be beyond greatly appreciated.

You have more than one graphics card, so it could be you are trying to capture from a display that is connected to the card that OBS did not start on? See https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/two-gpus-six-monitors-one-obs.124807/. I'm trying to solve the same problem as the one linked so it's just a suggestion, not coming from a deeper understanding of the logs or OBS.

Depending on your Windows version and what sources you wish to use, you may need to set OBS to run on a specific GPU. Not sure which Windows version you have? Press Windows+R and run "winver". For Windows 10 1909 or newer: Open Settings and search for "Graphics Settings". Select "Classic App"...
