I want to get a 4k Monitor and play with 1440p/2160p and a question came to my mind.
If I want to record my Games with 1080p why not just shrink the Source Window from 1440p/2160p to 1080p instead of adjusting the Base(Canvas) and Output(Scaled)?
AFAIK the Downscale Filter only kicks in when the Base > Output.
So what would be the impact/difference when I instead shrink the source in the actual window?
