Question / Help OBS Audio Skips - Every 2-3 seconds

Hi Guys,

I'm experiencing really annoying problem. My audio skips every 2-3 seconds and as its constant & very annoying for my viewers. I'm not running a web cam and i have tried almost all other suggestions I have found online to no avail.

I have attached my log file and any help is greatly appreciated.

As a test, configure OBS to capture to your hard drive only (not streaming) using this guide: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-classic-how-to-make-high-quality-local-recordings.16 and see if it still occurs in the file you save.

Try other capture methods, primarily game capture, and see if it still occurs.

I used to use that Phoebus audio card but I switched away from it for some reason, don't recall why, but I was not impressed by it. Might be it, make sure your audio drivers are up to date, in any event.
