I'm new to OBS and streaming in general, but I do know that it is possible to stream music from your desktop to OBS. I am currently streaming ps4 gameplay with an Elgato, as well as a Blue Yeti USB mic. I can stream the gameplay, game audio and my mic audio perfectly fine. The only thing I can't figure out is how to stream Spotify music from my desktop without it sounding terrible. I want the viewers to hear the music as if they were playing it on their own computer. Instead it sounds like I'm recording the music and then broadcasting it. I know it's possible because I watch streamers do this all the time. To rephrase, I can play ps4 gameplay and audio, as well as music from my computer fine; The Spotify audio is being picked up through Desktop audio device which is set to one of my computers speakers. What am I doing wrong?
