Question / Help OBS audio levels showing nothing

alright ive been having this problem for the last 5 months. I cant get this working again.
my problem is this. i wanna stream my dj shows. im getting sound levels on my djm 900 mixer but when i add an audio output source and choose the djm mixer with the built in soundcard the levels dont even show in obs. do i need to have another soundcard hooked up? im so confused
 
obs is a Basic software for basic stuff
this sounds like "pro" check if your mixer use multichannel audio then you need a stuff called asio (similary) driver
obs can't this at default only the basics
