OBS Audio Input Issues with a M2 MacBook Air

I'm having a major audio issue with OBS no mater what audio input I try I get nothing in the audio mixer.
I noticed that for some reason all devices were disabled in the Global Audio Devices so I set Mic Auxiliary 1 to default and still get nothing through the Mixer.

In the end I'm trying to route a Dante connection to OBS but I'm not even getting input from the laptop's microphone. Any ideas?

I've reinstalled OBS twice, Rolled back to an older version and I created a new scene collection with just an Audio Input. I tried the same collection on my MacBook Pro with no issue (not that I thought there would be) the other computer is a M2 MacBook Air.

Is there some config file causing this that's hiding and doesn't get removed when I reinstall/delete OBS?

Instead of 'default', add a specific audio device to your OBS to see if that works. Is there a driver to make the Dante appear as an audio interface in your Mac audio settings, or do you have to request the audio from it using a URL?

Install VB cable, then select it as mic. You might have to select it in sounds setting as an input source also.
