Question / Help OBS Audio Desync over time while Streaming

(Sorry if this is not the right place to post general questions, but I had no idea where else to post.)

-I tried using OBS to stream to Twitch around 6 months ago. I found that after every 30 minutes or so while streaming the feed would get a minor delay between the video and the audio. I was told that it was a known issue with OBS and that's when I stopped using OBS. Has this issue been resolved yet or does there still seem to be audio delay after continued streaming?

-Also, is there a way to update OBS without uninstalling my previous version and downloading and installing the newest version?

It's not a known issue with OBS directly. In the Mixer, click the little settings icon and go into the Properties for each source where you're having delay issues - untick "Use Device Timestamps". If you continue to have issues and you can reproduce them, select Help -> Log Files -> Upload Current Log and post the link here. We've had people stream for days without audio desync issues.

In terms of updating OBS, you don't need to uninstall first. Just run the installer for the newest version and follow the steps.
