Hi,

I have a weird issue and haven't found any clue to get rid of it. Thats why I registered to post in this forum, hopefully someone has any idea.

Problem:

When the Capture Cards setting is on P010 and the Color Space on 2100 (PQ) after some time I get an audio delay, most of the time on my headset while monitoring game audio, from time to time also on the stream/capture. The problem occurs randomly and you cant set a time frame, but often it happens first after 30 to 50 minutes, then it happen in shorter time frames like every 20-30 minutes.

Workaround:
Deactivating Capture Card and reactivate it. But after some time it will reoccur.

With the settings of NV12 and 709 the problem doesn't occur.

What I tried:
  • Reinstall OBS
  • Downgrade back to 28.1
  • Reinstall driver of audio device
  • Reinstall graphic card driver
  • BIOS Updated

Notebook:
  • Lenovo Legion 5 Pro
  • AMD Ryzen 5 5600h (iGPU is deavtivated)
  • Mobile RTX 3060 (6gb)
  • 16gb RAM

Encoder (Stream and Capturing): NVIDIA NVENC H.264
Capture Card: Elgato HD60s+ (audio by HDMI/USB, Audio Port not used)

I hope anyone has a clue or idea what to check or to do.

Best regards!

Problem solved or better say workaround:

In the audio mixer you stop capturing the capture card and add it as a audio input in the scene. That worked flawlessly. Sad that I have to do it this way. I don't understand why it won't work the normal way, but that's how it is.
