Hey everyone reading this, I have been streaming for a bit now but recently upgraded my computer's ram from 6gb > 12gb and had a change on location.
I attempted to stream using OBS to Twitch and had continuous problems [for about 4hours] then gave up. I had not problems prior to my change in location.
Computer Information:
>Alienware M14X
>Intel Core i5 2430M CPU 2.40GHz
>12GB RAM
>64 bit
>NVIDIA Geforce GT 555M
>90Mbs Downlink 40 Mbs Uplink Internet Speed
Current OBS Settings:
>Encoding
>>x264
>>CBR - Selected
>>CBR Padding - Selected
>>Max Bitrate - 2000
>>Buffer Size - 1800
>Video
>>1280x720
>>30FPS
>>Aero Disabled
>Advanced
General
>>Mulithreaded Optimizations - Selected
>>Process - Normal
>>Buffering Time - 700
Video
>>x264 CPU Preset - Faster
>>Encoding Profile - Main
>>Keyframe Interval - 2secs
>>Use CFR - Selected
Network
>>Auto Low Latency Mode - Selected
Please Let me know what settings I can use to make OBS work for me... Thanks a bunch!
